Sabber's letter to Sue

Hello Sue
These days I'm too busy because I want to go to a university 9 months later and I should read my school's books alot.
In every day, an average of my studing is about4 hours. I think reading about 4 hours in a day is not enough time for going to a good universityand that is a hard work but, I belive when you love a work, that work is easy for you .I think you belive my opinion too.Is it true?
In the Masnavi, we have read 52 lines. In fact reading the Masnavi is one of the best works that we can do it in my class with T.

Finally, although I am too busy, writing a letter to you makes me happy.
take care.

Sabber

Hello Bahman, ... and reading a letter from you makes me happy. Yes, I firmly believe that God gives us different talents and we know by the joy and love we feel when using these talents how important they are to our life.

I love to write and four hours is nothing when I sit at the computer. I will look up and suddently it is time for dinner!. Where has the day gone? Einstein said that time is relative, and I believe that. It passes so quickly when we are doing pleasurable activities and sooooo slowly when we are "under the gun". This is an American expression that means when we are under pressure or are unhappy doing something.

Thank you for telling me the Islamic idea about animals. It must not be true for all animals, however. I read that Mohammed had a beloved cat and would not let anyone disturb it if it was sleeping on his coat.

Dogs are different, however. My grandmother hated dogs because she had a friend that died of rabies, a very serious illness the people can die from if they are bitten by a rabid dog. Now, however, our dogs have innoculations against everything and we bath them and they are as clean as I am!! Almost!

There is a big difference in our countries on this minor fact. Americans love their pets and spend rediculous amounts of money on them. I try not to b e so silly, but my two small dogs are like children now that our children are grown and gone.

I have read the Masnavi to line 52 also, Each line is packed with such meaning. I wish I was there with all of you so that we could talk about the meanings.

Your friend, Sue

Hi Sue,

It is always nice to read a letter or comment from you. It makes our day a happier day and helps us feel less lonely.

In this last comment you are answering both Bahman and Sabber in a single comment. They are two different young men, but of course they both love you equally. So it's not really that important.

Dear Sabber, My sincere apologies. I DO know the difference between you and Bahman and I apologize for getting the two of you confused yesterday.

My only excuse is that I have been very involved in the present elections here in the USA and my mind was taken up with that and I did not read carefully. I promise to be more alert in the future. Now I must write to Bahman and apologize.
