Dear Sue,
Thank you very much for correcting my errors, they are very useful for me.
If you have time, say me my mistakes, please.

Sue, I read a short story in English, I saw 2 words, forest and jungle.
What is a difference between them?
I heard that forest is artificial and jungle is natural, is it true?

Take care, Faranak

Hi Faranak, I would disagree with the advice you got. A forest is what we see - all kinds of trees, some of which lose their leaves in winter and some which do not. (balsam, fir, pine etc.)

I think of a jungle as almost the same as a rain forest that one finds around the equator. Thick growth, heavy humidity, thick moisture and very warm. It would have many tropical plants and would probably be the home of lions and tigers, snakes, and elephants. Both jungles and forests are real. Hope this clears it up for you.
Sue
