Hello sue.

I am sahar rahimi.I have a twin sister. Her name is saeede. I,m 21 years old and i,m a university student in music field. I play guiter and piano. I love music and i practice guitar every day. I have a question of you: Do you call every body by the first name or must you be allowed first? In our university we call each other by first names.

Hi Sahar, Thank you for the nice letter. I am so glad you are studying music. Bahman introduced me to some Iranian music and I really liked it. Do you study any Western Music: Beethoven, Mozart, or even more contemporary groups?

Yes, Americans try to call one another by the first names. In my younger days we always had to call older people Mr. Mrs. or Miss So and so. Now we are more informal. Except in schools. Usually we use Mr. or Mrs. or Miss in addressing the teacher. America seems very free to many people, but, in fact, we are very prudish and "Puritanical" in many ways.
