Dear Hamed,
Since our main reason for being here is to improve our English, I am going to rewrite your post in the English I would use, and then, in another post, I will try to answer your questions and concerns.

Respectfully, Sue

Your Post, rewritten:
"I would like to know more about America (capital) from an American. (no space before period) Therefore, I have some questions for you. Do you like your president? Do your people like Obama? Do you agree to your country's strategies? Do your people like these conditions? If your people like these conditions, why, and if they do not like them, why do they stay calm? Do your people agree to war? If they like war, why and if they do not like it, why the Iraqi war and other wars? Do your people agree to the burning of the Quran? Is this right??? Is this freedom??? I only search for reality."

Dear Hamed, It is good for me to see curious young people like you, and let me try to answer your concerns. Thank you for writing. Here are my answers:
Our people are 35 years and thousands of miles apart, and yet America is home to approximately 1 million Iranians and millions of Muslims. From the latest figures they are some of the most well-educated people in our country. I have the deepest admiration and respect for the Iranian people. I hope I can earn your respect, too.

However, let us remember that this is a site to learn English. Mr T and I, in our correspondence, have been very, very careful to stay away from political ideas and angers, and to concentrate more on the culture, education and literature of both nations. This is important to remember, for it is easy to argue and fight, and it is harder to find common ground.
However, here are a few answers to your questions. Yes, Obama was elected by majority vote of the people, and except for the war in Afghanistan, I support his domestic ideas.
No, I do not agree with everything my country does, for I am not always in the majority. I am against war in almost every shape and form, and wonder why war is necessary at all. For example, we fought a violent war started by the Japanese and Germans. Millions died. Now we are good friends. Why must millions die and then we turn around and are friends? It makes no sense to me. You explain this. I can't.

And so, we who do not agree with the majority, wait until another election and hopefully, if we work hard and try to get enough votes, we will have a better outcome. Is it not that way in Iran?
The man who wanted to burn the Quran is a stupid idiot. However, instead of throwing him in jail and not telling him why he was arrested, President Obama spoke against it, and many leaders spoke to him, and an American Muslim Imam spoke to him. The man was a self-appointed minister of a church of only 35 people in a little hick town in the middle of nowhere. Result: He did not burn anything! Just a lot of bluster and talk, talk, talk.
The matter was settled without drama, without jail and without the burning.
If a Muslim American had purchased some Christian Bibles and Jewish Torahs and threatened to burn them without harming any one else's property or other people, the matter would have been handled in the same way. Isn't it better for people to talk things out, as you are questioning me, rather than lock one another up because we don't agree? Democracy is a messy form of government because there are always many different ways of seeing things. This is very long, and I apologize for its length.
Respectfully, Sue
