Faranak's Writing

Hi Sue,
You said your daughter looked lovely as a bride and you can find a picture of yourself where you were married. Could you send me these pictures?
I really love to see them.
Dear Sue, if you want I can send to your e-mail some Iranian brides pictures.

I have a question but I don't know if I ask or don't. I worry about you became upset of my question. If my question is not good and upset you, please don't think about it and don't answer.
I want to know what American think about our Nuclear Energy? Do they think it isn't our right?

Have a nice time.
Your friend, Faranak.

P.S. Dear Sue, I had a very wonderful grandmother. I will write about her in another post.

Hi dear friend,
I would love to get pictures from you and I will try hard to upgrade my computer skills and figure a way to send a pic of Leslie and I in our bridal gowns. My email is spetrovski@comcast.net

Also, I would love to hear about your grandmother! I think it would be good for you and for me to take the time to remember her in writing.

Faranak, you may ask me any question you wish. My hesitancy is that I don't want to do anything to start trouble.

About the nuclear energy question: It is sooooo very complicated. NO ONE in the USA is against Iran having Nuclear Power. It is a clean form of energy and Iran has every right to it.

However, the idea of Iran having a nuclear bomb is scary. It seems fair, but it is scary. Very scary.

Here is why:
The whole Middle East is a powder keg right now and a movement this aggressive could destroy the entire balance of power. I don't know what Israel will do if that happens. They have very militant leaders right now, and I don't think they will listen to America if they feel a nuclear threat.

Russia and the USA both are well armed, but have signed a nuclear proliferation treaty in which both countries are getting rid of many of their nuclear weapons. Granted, it is only a start, but I personally would rather see nations work to limit the use of nuclear bombs rather than add to the mess.
It makes me sad to realize that my country is the only one that has ever used the atomic bomb. AT the time, our leaders felt that it would save a million lives of Japanese and Allied soldiers and the Japanese wouldn't surrender. The results were horrendous and too awful to think of it happening again.

Your president was in the US and spoke at the United Nations this week. He appeared on USA TV and came across as unbending, and I worry that our countries cannot find a way to sit down and talk about things. I'm afraid that all one needs is for a nuclear event to happen in Israel, or Lebanon or Iran, and we would have World War III. This is my frightened opinion. I am old and this will not affect me so much, but you are young, and I wish for you a safer future.

What would I like to see happen? I wish we could find some friendship between the two great powers of Iran and the USA before any nuclear bombs are made. This would make the Middle East more secure and peace would be a possibility. I hope and pray.

Your friend, Sue

PS I want to write soon and "discuss the use of "should" with a verb . Your sentence could read "I don't know if I should ask it or not. I worry that you might become upset with (or at) my question."
